Our Mission
At VIWO, our mission is to empower immigrant women in Canada by providing them with support, resources, and opportunities to enhance their settlement, rights, and employment prospects. We are a diverse group of volunteers immigrated to Canada from Türkiye who are committed to creating projects, collaborating with other communities and initiatives and advocating for gender equality and women’s rights. We aim to assist women-based start-ups and entrepreneurs, foster newcomer integration, and secure grants and support for our projects. Our organization values inclusivity, unity, and the active participation of all members, ensuring that every voice is heard and represented.
